West Virginia University's Extension Service to launch a statewide anti-cyberbullying campaign and school curriculum. The "iRespect'' curriculum aimed at preventing bullying online or by using other electronic communication devices. They will test the materials with youth focus groups statewide. WVU officials say that the curriculum is aimed at reflecting real-life situations and provoking conversations that help address the root of cyberbullying.
A state law that made it illegal for a person to abuse or harass another person via computer, mobile phone or other communication devices which took effect in April 2011.
